Meet Our Instructor – Erica Pinigis. Erica is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor with additional training in Pre and Post-Natal Pilates and Injuries & Special Populations. Before returning home to Madison in 2016, Erica spent several years in San Francisco working with various populations, including pregnant and postpartum women. Erica is passionate about helping people live more comfortable embodied lives, whether that means strengthening before a surgery, rehabilitating after a surgery or injury, training for an athletic event, or negotiating more comfortable daily activities like picking up children, climbing stairs, or getting in and out of the car. In addition to teaching Pilates, Erica is a professional dancer with Kanopy Dance Company, is on the faculty at Kanopy Academy, and teaches dance for adult amateurs through UW Continuing Studies. As an first time expecting mom, Erica is thrilled to experience her changing body and life along side her clients.
