Spontaneous Creativity Meditation Retreat (Day 1)

Spontaneous Creativity Meditation Retreat (Day 1)

Holy Wisdom Monastery

4200 County Road M
Middleton, WI 53562

I am delighted to welcome Marcy Vaughn – an internationally known meditation teacher and my mentor for the past 10 years – back to Madison for this 2-day retreat on Sat February 16 (10am-4pm) and Sun Feb 17 (10am-1pm). Her warm and accessible ways of engaging the whole practitioner in self-reflection and meditation – through the doors of body, speech, and mind – invite an honest sense of self-discovery and with it, the surprising possibilities of personal transformation and healing. I have studied, and continue to study, with teachers from many traditions, and in my experience, these Bon Buddhist practices, made available in a non-religious form through the generosity of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and The 3 Doors, are the among the most rewarding. They have allowed me to reflect on out-grown habitual patterns that exist in places deeper than my good intentions or conceptual thinking are capable of reaching and give them the open space, lively awareness, and warmth of being that they require to dissolve.

All event details can be found on this Eventbrite link (https://februaryretreat.eventbrite.com) where you can also register.

In addition, there are 2 optional introductory sessions that I am leading at Threshold in January; you may attend these with or without attending the February retreat. with Marcy Vaughn See the separate calendar listings for January 12 and 26.

Please reach out to me if you would like any more information - and share widely!
